The Spooktacular Trunk or Treat: What to Expect!

Get ready for some Halloween fun at St. Matthew’s Weekday School! 🎃👻 We’re excited to host our annual Trunk or Treat event on Friday, November 1st from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and we can’t wait to celebrate with our wonderful preschool families!

This event is all about bringing our community together for a morning filled with festive costumes, decorated car trunks, and lots of treats. Here’s everything you need to know to join in on the fun:

How It Works

Families are invited to decorate their car trunks and participate in this lively event. If you’re interested in decorating a trunk, please sign up using the Google Form linked in your email. You can arrive as early as 9:30 AM to begin setting up, and we ask that trunks be ready by 11:00 AM for our children’s parade kickoff.

The children will come to school with their Halloween costumes and, with a little help from our teachers and parent volunteers, they’ll get dressed at school and ready for a parade through our parking lot. We’ll line up all the little superheroes, princesses, and spooky creatures at 11:00 AM sharp for their grand march!

Treat Guidelines

To ensure a safe and inclusive experience for everyone, we ask that families bring nut-free, individually wrapped treats or non-food items (such as stickers or small toys) to distribute during Trunk or Treat. This way, all children can enjoy the event, regardless of dietary restrictions.

Who Can Participate?

All of our students are welcome and encouraged to attend, even if Friday isn’t their usual day at St. Matthew’s Weekday School. This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate the joy of the season!

We Need Your Help!

If you’re interested in volunteering to help with costumes, setup, or parade logistics, please let us know. We’d love to have some extra hands to make this event run smoothly!

We can’t wait to see your creative trunk designs, cheerful costumes, and smiling faces as we celebrate the season together. Let’s make this year’s Trunk or Treat an unforgettable experience for our children and families!

For more details, reach out to our office directly.

See you on November 1st for a morning of festive fun and community spirit!
